Philippians 3:18 NKJV

For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Philippians 3:18 NKJV

Paul taught the Philippian church to follow Paul's example. Paul's freedom in Christ led him to live a life of separation in fulfilling God's plan and His purpose.

The freedom in Christ propels Paul to live a purpose-filled life that reflects Christ's image and likeness.

Many in Paul's day claim to be Christ followers but all their actions do not reflect Christ nor His image.

Today many profess to live a godly life but can't even be consistent in the simplest things. We need to check ourselves, where are we in our walk with God?

Many have strong opinions on what is right and what everyone must follow, but they can't display the basic life of a follower of Christ consistently.

Freedom in Christ for Paul is not living according to his physical needs but to his spiritual destiny in Christ, pressing forward to the upward call of God for his life.

Do we reflect this freedom we have in Christ?

Do we reflect Christ's image, love, and mercy?

Do we change our values and our mindset to be more Christlike?

We have this liberty in Christ to live out His kingdom on earth, but the choice is ours to make. Many have turned away because of their selfish ambitions.

Many use God's name in vain, to cover up their struggles and to make it sound holy as if it is a direction from the Lord.

We must be vigilant in Christ, keep our eyes on Him, and let our lives be an example that reflects the gospel of His kingdom.

Let us choose wisely to reflect Christ and display His image and likeness every day.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
