Acts 2:42 NKJV

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Acts 2:42 NKJV

The first church after the Pentecost were filled with the Holy Spirit, dedicated to meeting up together, following the teachings that the apostles gave, they ate and prayed together.

The church was steadfast. They had such dedication which united them as a strong family and they moved together as a force that changed the society they lived in.

The Bible tells us that there were many signs and wonders, people coming into the saving knowledge of Christ and the gospel of good news was spreading widely.

This outward growth comes form an inward unity and steadfastness towards Christ. Giving themselves to fellowship and speaking to one another the glorious things of the Lord.

When there are such growth, miracles, story of liberation of people from bondage, the headline of the talks of the people are not negativity but of praise to the Lord.

In such an atmosphere, their faith in Christ and their trust in the power of the Holy Spirit can only grow stronger each day.

The momentum they created will continue to ripple through the atmosphere bringing glory and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Coming together as a family of God is not a social gathering but a powerful force that generates a powerful atmosphere to save souls.

They were not living a ritualistic life but a true genuine fellowship that is filled with love, care and passion to accomplish God's assignments for each one.

Let us treasure our fellowship, make it a spiritual sanctuary where people are ignited to the Lord and built up to fulfill the great commission.

Live the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
