Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Paul warns believers not to be persuaded by worldly philosophies that normalize sinful activity as part of a modern-day lifestyle.

They make sin look good and the principles of God's word appear to have no value. They get people to indulge in all kinds of immorality and find ways to justify it.

The word of God is not for argument, it is not for consideration, it is not a suggestion or merely for information. The word of God is life to all mankind.

The word of God cannot be argued or altered, but it shapes our old ways of life into a new, born-again nature in Christ. We are born into the image of God.

This is the grace given to us, a life that is of Christ to be lived by faith daily. We need to constantly discern what we allow into our lives.

If it does not align to the image of Christ and what Christ has accomplished for us as a new creation, we have to reject that belief system.

God does not want us to suffer punishment that was brought by the first Adam. God does not want us to suffer the penalty of sin that was caused by Adam and Eve.

Instead, God wants us to live in His holiness, in His love and peace. God wants us to enjoy all that He has provided through His Son, Jesus Christ.

The wrath is not what God planned for mankind. Therefore, our eyes should not fix on the wrath but on Him who is love.

True love for God causes us to live according to His word and according to His truth. Let us keep living in alignment with what Christ has established for us.
