Romans 8:34 NKJV
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
Romans 8:34 NKJV
Paul explained the complete work of Christ by a question that who can condemn us for it is Christ who died for us. These questions reveal the depth of our salvation.
Our sins were not paid by the blood of animals that needs to be offered every time they sinned but by the Holy Son of the living God. Christ's resurrection from death guarantees our life and His blood carries its seal of salvation for eternity.
No one, not even satan has any ground to condemn us of our sins because Jesus has paid for all mankind. This is the grace that has been offered to all mankind that everyone can have this opportunity to be saved.
The price has been paid, the way has been made and now all can receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
This powerful truth of liberty we have in Christ is always challenged by the religious leaders today. Because it is a too good to be true news.
Too good that it leaves no trace of the past, no trace of sin and death. It reflects only Christ and His life that He has purchased for us.
Jesus is making intercession for us also means that He is acting as an advocate, presenting the proof of payment for all of our sins.
This truth liberates us from every form of accusations that satan tries to bring to our mind. It clears the person's conciousness to walk as a free man.
We must not allow any other thoughts to come in between the finished work of Christ no matter what the situation may be.
Let us stand in accordance to Christ's liberty and live out this freedom that Christ has given to us.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
