Luke 3:13 NKJV

And he said to them, “Collect no more than what is appointed for you.”

Luke 3:13 NKJV

John the Baptist is preparing the way for Jesus who has come to be the way, the truth and the life to all mankind.

The message that John preached is repentance, to turn their direction from judgment to righteousness.

John the Baptist is a forerunner turning the mindset of people to be ready to welcome the message of grace and love.

When the people repented and asked what they must do, John pointed them to the greatest commandment, which is to love God and love one another.

Love is a powerful force that can break the strongest power in the universe. Death has no match for the love of God.

We live in this precious love of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. This is the message from the beginning, the message that we should love one another.

Jesus came and fulfilled all that John preached. Jesus became the sacrifice for all humanity, past, present and future.

Now we live in Christ and Christ in us. Therefore, our lives should flow with the love of God. The love of God covers a multitude of sins and conquers death in Jesus' Name.

Every situation that comes our way is a test to see if we have turned to Christ and live in His love. Every action is a test to see how much of ourselves have turned to Christ.

Turning ourselves to Christ will turn on His power that is within us.

Let us cultivate the love of God within us by practicing His love daily with each other.

Blessings,

Ps Ambrose
