Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Perfection cannot be attained, it is given to us by God our Father in heaven through His Son Jesus Christ. It is our inheritance as children of God.

God is not asking us to become perfect, He is asking us to live out the perfect life that He has given.

God has given to us a new life, life that is according to His image and likeness. If we choose to cultivate what God has given, then we will start living life according to His likeness.

We are not our own, we have been bought with a price and have been clothed with His righteousness.

We have God the Holy Spirit living in us to help us live out God's perfect plan and fulfill the destiny He has prepared for us.

This is not a difficult life to live. Instead, this is an amazing life that has been given so that we can live in the grace and love of our God.

The biggest change that needs to register in our hearts and minds is that WE HAVE BECOME PERFECT IN CHRIST.

This is why we are called to live in Him, move in Him and have our being in Him. Because when we live in Christ, we will manifest His perfect life.

Let us not look at what surrounds us but look at what the One who is living in the inside who the power to changes our surroundings.

Let us continue to look at Jesus, the perfect One who has made us perfect and have graced us to live this holy life.
