Through wisdom, a house is built, and by understanding, it is established;

Everything in life that is strong is built through wisdom and by understanding, covering every area of possibilities and finalising what will truly stand in the end.

Paul says that as a wise master builder, he has laid the foundation. Paul laid Jesus Christ as a foundation upon which he structured and built his lifestyle.

To know that Jesus Christ is the foundation for our lives is the starting point of building our lives.

To know what this foundation consists of will give us understanding of how to apply it and how to live in it.

Therefore, it is wise to lay Jesus Christ and His finished work as our firm foundation.

It would be foolish to lay any other than Jesus as nothing else will stand the test of time and life except Jesus Christ.

Giving our time knowing the truth is wise, and understanding it makes our lives strong as a man builds his house on a rock.

When the storms of life come, we will be able to stand against them and conquer them.

Let us choose to be wise by laying Jesus Christ and His finished work as the foundation of our lives.
