II Corinthians 2:9 NKJV
For to this end I also wrote, that I might put you to the test, whether you are obedient in all things.
II Corinthians 2:9 NKJV
Paul's letter to the Corinthians serves as a test of their obedience, not only in correcting wrongdoing but also in practicing forgiveness and restoration. This teaching emphasizes the importance of obedience in all aspects of life.
Unfortunately, many people misconceive forgiveness as being unnecessary when they are the victim. However, forgiveness is a powerful gift that reverses satan's plans and destroys his work. Forgiveness is an act of obedience while refusing to forgive is an act of disobedience.
Often, we know what God has said, but we fail to put it into practice. It is essential to recognize that forgiving others brings blessings that heal our wounds, restore our inner being, and reveal God's true nature. The blessings of forgiveness are directly tied to our obedience.
All of God's promises come with attached blessings. When we follow and obey His Word, we experience the fruit of our obedience. Forgiveness means healing, restoration, and being prepared to manifest God's goodness in and through our lives.
Viewing forgiveness from this perspective makes it a joyful experience. By forgiving, we empower ourselves to cut off the enemy's plots over our emotions, will, and desires.
Remember, obedience is always accompanied by abundance.
Let us put forgiveness, restoration, and helping others into practice so that we may grow from glory to glory in Christ Jesus.
Blessings,
