Ephesians 2:3, NKJV

Among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others." Ephesians 2:3, NKJV

Paul teaches believers about the new life received through Christ, highlighting the big contrast between our old and new lives. He acknowledges that we ONCE lived without hope and without God, driven by fleshly desires and limited by our own abilities, under satan's influence.

But now, through Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, we have received grace upon grace to rise above the powers that ONCE held us in bondage.

We now reign with Him in a dimension of creative power, wisdom, knowledge, hope, and love that surpasses any other dimension in the universe.

As believers in Christ, we should stand out in our society today, distinguished by our character, words, confidence, and love. We should walk in peace that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of a perverse and crooked generation.

We are not called to blend in with the world's wisdom or follow its ways. Instead, we are to shine the way, the truth, and the life by carrying ourselves in a manner that reflects Christ.

This is not about condemning others for their sins or lifestyle but about serving and uplifting them in the ways of the Lord.

As carriers of God's glory, we are the answer to the world's longing to experience His goodness. We are to display God's goodness so that the world may know how good He is.

Paul emphasizes that we should not live as if Christ has done nothing for us or beg as if He has not provided for us. Christ has given us everything we need for life and godliness.

Let us cultivate the gifts Christ has given us and be the light in the world, reflecting Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

Blessings,
