Acts 4:21 NKJV
So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way of punishing them, because of the people, since they all glorified God for what had been done.
Acts 4:21 NKJV
The lives of the believers in the early church were full of evidence, evidence that Jesus is alive, miracles that Jesus did is continuing in their lives and many are being set free.
The institution that were set to bring glory to God are the ones trying to stop the movement of God, they want to stop because they are no longer in control, their reputation is held by their ceremonies and their identity is secured in their system.
But the believers were living out Christ and moving by the power of the Holy Spirit. Setting people free and liberating them in the truth that Christ has revealed.
This evidence is the substance of faith they carry in them, which is Christ, the hope of glory.
If we don't see evidence of the life of Christ as a believer, it does not mean we don't have the life of Christ. It means we have not cultivated the power of God that Christ has placed in us.
All we need to do is to start practising, taking actions according to the authority God has given and exercise it daily until it becomes part of our lifestyle.
This is the normal lifestyle in the early church. Where the evidence is so clear that no arguments can win when the results are before their eyes.
Every miracle that took place cannot be justified by any intellectual explanation. It is just the pure word of God manifested.
As God said it, so shall it be done. So the believers were calling as it is said, living as it is said, walking as it is said and believing as it is said.
Are we saying as it is said? Are we calling those things as it is said? Believing as it is said and walking as it is said?
When we do exercise what Christ has said, we will also see the evidence of God's supernatural power in and through our lives.
Let us rise up and start living our lives according to what Christ has said, declared and established for our lives.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
