John 6:21 NKJV
Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.
John 6:21 NKJV
The disciples were in the boat, fighting the storm and wind to go towards Capernaum. Then they saw Jesus walking on the water. Jesus said "Do not fear," and when they received Jesus into the boat, they reached their destination.
When the storms of life come and cause terror in our surroundings, remember that we have in us God Almighty, who is all-powerful and glorious.
We can walk just like Jesus did in the midst of the storms of life without fear and we will reach our destination supernaturally.
Jesus demonstrated that the God kind of life is above the natural circumstances, above the natural law of the earth and has no fear in the face of trouble.
We are called to grow into the life of Christ, living the supernatural life that we have received in the spirit and not to remain in our natural carnal nature.
In our spiritual journey, we will face many trials and go through many tribulations. Therefore, it is crucial for us to learn what God HAS given to us and live out that grace every day in our lives.
We must cultivate our lives to live out our true identity in Christ and not be bogged down by our own faults, failures, emotions and desires.
Having Jesus as our Lord and Saviour is not the end but the beginning of a supernatural life in Christ. It is the beginning of the unfolding of the treasures of heaven that are in us.
Indeed, Jesus Christ in us the hope of glory. When Christ is in us, we are elevated to a supernatural dimension when we lay our hands on the sick in the name of Jesus and the sick people will be healed, delivered and set free.
When they heard Jesus said it is I do not be afraid they WILINGLY received Him into the boat. Fear will steal away our willingness and will keep us from walking in the supernatural. It will keep us rowing, toiling and going around the same thing without being fruitful.
Religion keeps people going in circles, doing the same thing, praying the same thing, but remaining fearful, doubtful, lonely and as one who serves a god that is asleep.
But we are in a relationship with Jesus, empowered by His Spirit to live the God kind of life with God's power and might. We are to cast out fear, unbelief and every evil thing that is standing in our path.
When we have Christ in our vessel, we will surely arrive at our destination supernaturally. Let us put our efforts to Know Him so that we can walk in Him.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
