Philippians 3:5 NKJV
Paul is qualified to speak about having no confidence in the flesh, no confidence in observation of the law and no confidence in mere earthly understanding.
When he was confident in his knowledge of the scriptures without revelation from the Holy Spirit, he almost lost his salvation.
He became the persecutor of the real truth; he became zealous to punish people of God, thinking it was good service unto the Lord.
Paul was a prime candidate of the law. He was raised from birth and trained under Gamaliel, yet it led him away from Christ.
But after the encounter on the road and was blinded, God told Ananias to heal Paul's blindness and Paul was FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
That was the beginning of Paul's journey in Christ which caused him to write many books in the
The New Testament, was revealed by the Spirit of God.
Paul is saying to all believers, don't take the road that leads you away from Christ by relying on studying the word in the natural or with carnal understanding. But be led by the Holy Spirit and let Him who is the author of the word of God guide us into all truths.
Therefore the number one teacher for all believers is God Himself. God's Spirit that is in us desires to reveal Jesus more than any teacher in the world.
Every teacher who is led by His Spirit will be guided into all truth and will grow from glory to glory until we walk as Christ walked on this earth.
God, the Holy Spirit, will show us things that we cannot see with our carnal senses through His word. He will bring it out fresh every day that we may walk as sons and daughters of God.
Therefore, let us give ourselves to praying in the Holy Spirit, stirring ourselves up in the most holy faith, creating an atmosphere to grow in the Spirit of the Lord and don't put away the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but grow strong in them.
So that we can live in the supernatural power of God and lead as many as we can to Christ our Lord.
Live in the blessings
