Paul is bringing godly order that protects, covers, and secures so we can function to our full potential in Christ.

It brings accountability to our lives as we keep checking and be accountable to those above us, and ultimately to God, from whom all direction originates.

Submission is not about showing we are less than others or that leaders are greater than followers. It is about giving ourselves to each other and serving each other to mature in God.

Submission is a blessing under a godly leader who desires the best of God for their lives. Today's leaders are all about exalting the self above others.

Jesus, on the other hand, taught His disciples that the position of leaders is to serve others and present them as Christ had presented before His Father.

Each one has to discern where they place themselves under in order to grow into the fullness of Christ. As each one must take heed of how we build our lives on the foundation Jesus has laid.

Every leadership role, from children, wives, husbands, and leaders in the ministry, has one goal, and that is to lead all to Christ's fullness.

Let us live under godly counsel, under those who desire the best of God for each other.
