For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

Peter, in his early journeys, was caught up in pleasing traditions and cultures, but in his last days, he began to point everyone back to Jesus Christ as the only way, the truth, and the life.

Once again, Peter declared about Jesus Christ because it is not just stories and fables or a message he heard from someone else, like many.

Peter declared that they themselves were eyewitnesses and had heard the voice from heaven pronouncing that Jesus Christ is the Father's own beloved Son, in whom He is well pleased.

This is also the message that they observed, lived, and mingled in for three full years. They found no fault but conviction after conviction and seeing miracles after miracles.

They also saw before their eyes that the Old Testament prophecies in scriptures were being fulfilled concerning the Messiah.

With this in mind, Peter boldly declared that this is the Messiah, the Saviour of the world that the scriptures have declared.

We can have such confidence in every word Jesus has spoken today. We can put our complete trust in Christ for He has accomplished everything for mankind.

By believing in Christ and His word, we can start living the life of God by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are not a religion but a movement of God as His hands and feet to touch, heal, and deliver people from the works of the enemy.

We are the light of God to bring enlightenment of the truth and clothe them with the same love we have received from Christ Jesus.

Living Jesus here on earth will open the eyes of the people to see the truth like Peter saw and hear the truth like Peter heard.

Let us keep preaching Jesus Christ, Him crucified and Him resurrected.
