Ephesians 2:11 NKJV

Paul spoke to the believers, highlighting that they have all entered into a new life, with a new beginning and with a new identity.

We once indicated our past, our bondage, our sins, our cultures, our beliefs, our thought patterns, and our lifestyle, it all has to come to a stop.

If we don't stop and realise it is about a new start in life that is GIVEN by Christ Jesus, we will be dragging all our mess into this beautiful life Christ paid with His life.

Don't let pride bring our past mess into our new life; don't let fallen words still come out of our mouths, but humble ourselves in accepting the truth that Christ has brought to all mankind.

We must remember that we cannot mix both worlds and call it a balanced life. The only balanced life we can have is the life that God first intended for mankind. A balanced life is to live in the image of God and in His likeness, in Spirit and in Christ who is the Truth.

We need to cross over to the new life that Christ has given by changing our mindset, it is NO LONGER I WHO live but Christ lives in me and through me.

Therefore, it is no longer about who I am, what I like or this is just me. Now it is about being an imitator of God as His dear children.

The only one who can mess up this beautiful and powerful life is our will. If we can bring our will to subjection to Christ, we will experience the victory Christ has purposed.

Let us make a decision to intentionally renew our hearts and minds. Be conformed to the new image that Christ has brought into our lives.
