The remnant of Israel shall do no unrighteousness And speak no lies, Nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; For they shall feed their flocks and lie down, And no one shall make them afraid.”
Zephaniah 3:13 NKJV
The preservation of the faith comes from those who choose to believe in God Almighty and walk in His ways. In the midst of corruption, envy and full of deceit some have remained faithful to the Lord.
Their assurance and faith in God has kept them from involving in unrighteous deeds. In a society that is full of demonic system that calls evil good and good as evil yet it did not change their stand.
Because these remnant have fixed their eyes, minds and hearts on the Lord. They have kept themselves in alignment to the plans and purposes of God so that the Messiah can be born into the world.
They did not have the same conversation like the people who do not believe in God. They spoke the language of faith, of promise and their thoughts are to please God.
The scriptures says that they will feed their flocks and lie down. They did not lack anything and they can have peace and rest in their hearts.
They feared no one because their trust is in God who have spoken. All the threats did not move them at all but they had their confidence in God.
Today as believers in Christ who have been blessed with every spiritual blessing and empowered with authority and power ought to live a significant life in this world.
Our lives should manifest the love, grace and power of God in the midst of all kinds of philosophies and beliefs that are in the world.
We are the remnant for God today to preach the true gospel of Christ, His kingdom and display His love to the world.
Let us put our complete trust in the Lord, live life without fear and walk in faith of Christ our Lord.
