Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

A powerful scripture that reveals about what we have inside of us from God. We don't have a little bit of God but the fullness of God. The firstfruit always refers to the best of the crops. The best of God is in us by His Spirit.

This is a reminder for all believers to get a hold of this truth. Jesus Christ has made a way for the best to dwell within us.

This means our spirit is completely changed to the very image of God. All of God, His image and likeness has been restored to all mankind through Christ.

Now we who have confessed Christ Jesus as our Lord and Saviour have to power to start changing our body, our mind and our heart according to who we have become in the spirit.

The bible says all things have become new for the believers in Christ. But many believers don't fully understand this because they look at the external and think " nothing much has happened".

This is why the bible teaches us not to be carnally minded but to be spiritually minded so that we can take what is in the spirit and change the carnal to function according to our true identity in the spirit.

Our own body yearns and growns for us to take all that God has given and start changing our lives so that this carnal body can start manifesting the glory of God.

Praying in the spirit, praying with the gift of tongues and with all spiritual blessings is vital to bringing our body to alignment with what we have in the spirit.

Let us stir our minds, our hearts to behold the fullness of God and implement those gifts Christ has put into our lives.
