Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

Romans 6:8 NKJV

Everyone who confesses that Jesus is their Lord and Saviour becomes a partaker of Christ's divine nature.

First, when people confess Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, they acknowledge that they have died with Christ.

Christ took the punishment, took the curse, and took the separation from God because of the sin of the first Adam.

Therefore, all who confess Jesus is their Lord have died with Christ so that now we can live with Christ with His resurrected body.

Christ has died in the flesh, and we regard Him no more in the flesh because now He is a Spirit being sitting at the right hand of the Father.

Because we live in Christ, we are also seated together with Him to rule, reign, and govern the earth with the power of heaven.

This is the reason we are to live the life of Christ because that is the life we HAVE received.

We start every day as holy, anointed, empowered, and glorious children of the living God who have been blessed with EVERY SPIRITUAL blessing.

Knowing Jesus gives us knowledge of our true identity. Jesus said that greater works than these we shall do, because it is no longer we who live, but Christ.

We do not have to think twice about whether we have the power of God or not. As long as we are a believer of Christ and confess Him as our Lord, we can function in His fullness.

Since we have died and our flesh is crucified with Christ, let us not wake up our dead deeds.

Let us not remind ourselves of our faults and failures; instead, build our lives in what Christ has accomplished for us.

Let us spend time counting our blessings, renewing our minds, changing our hearts, implementing them in our lives, and let every part of us magnify Jesus Christ our Lord.
