John 1:41 NKJV

He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ).

John 1:41 NKJV

Starting from the ministry of John the Baptist, John had raised his disciples to look for the Messiah and Andrew followed Jesus the moment John the baptist pointed Him as the Messiah.

Andrew then brought his own brother Simon to follow Jesus Christ. Andrew had such assurance that Christ Jesus is the Messiah to save all mankind.

Andrew had no idea that his brother would be appointed by Jesus as the leader among the disciples. To help bring direction to the church to follow Christ.

Just like Andrew, we who have a relationship with Jesus Christ and know that He is the Saviour of the world ought to bring souls to Jesus.

Every person needs to know Jesus because their inheritance as a child of God and to live out all the blessings for life begins by knowing Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.

Andrew brought his brother because Andrew was convinced that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and it moved him to bring others to the Lord.

How convinced are we about Jesus Christ our Lord and are we sharing this truth to all humanity?

It can start with a small conversation with one person about God's goodness in our lives, by helping those who are in need and to preach the gospel in the nations of the world.

We don't know how each person is going to respond and become a great instrument of God to display His glory.

Each one of us needs to disciple people to look unto Christ and to follow Him all the days of their lives. Because Jesus is the answer, He is our enlightenment, revelation and provision.

Let us keep bringing people to Jesus, may our lives be an instrument that people can see and taste the goodness of God.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
