1 Corinthians 2:1 NKJV

And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.

1 Corinthians 2:1 NKJV

Paul, who once studied under the best teacher of his time, had all the skills to bring the word of God with natural understanding and expound the testament and its meaning.

Instead, what counted most for Paul was personal, experiential knowledge of the word of God, as the Holy Spirit revealed the person of Jesus to him.

Paul is not here to give his knowledge of God from just the scriptures, but Paul speaks of His experience of the word of God that has transformed his life.

Paul's message is a message that has been tried and tested in his own life. Needing no persuasive skills but was backed by transforming power.

Paul took time after his encounter with Jesus to preach Jesus and Him crucified. That encounter impacted him, from seeing the word of God from a human perspective to God's perspective.

When one is walking with the Lord and manifesting the likeness of Jesus, they do not need any persuasive words, but they demonstrate the power and life of Jesus.

Every truth needs to become part of our lifestyle, not just knowledge we learn to know about, but learn to live by the truth.

Each one of us is called to walk in the fullness of Christ, manifesting His power in everything we touch and do.

Let us take the truth that Jesus has laid for our lives and start implementing them in every aspect of our lives.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
