Matthew 20:9 NKJV
And when those who were hired about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius.
Matthew 20:9 NKJV
There is something powerful we can learn about this parable Jesus spoke. In the kingdom of God, it is not about how long we have been in the ministry, it is not about our experience but mainly it is about obedience in doing what the Master has said.
Arguments start when we take our eyes off what we were meant to do, frustration creeps in when we start to count our efforts in the light of others, and hearts harden when we start to look for something other than what was said.
Everyone in this world faces these situations in the workplace, in our homes and in our churches. How we deal with it is so important.
If we do it unto the Lord, we will silence the plans of the enemy. If we start looking at things other than doing what we were supposed to do, we will give in to the plot of the enemy.
Let God be the one to acknowledge us.
Let God be the one to promote us and let God be the focus of our work so that we will give our best at all times.
When God's word is released, it is done and the provision is set. No one can change the reward, for every word has its reward already attached to it.
Therefore, we must learn to give our best to God in everything we do. Keep our eyes on Him and Him alone. Trust Him completely for every provision for it is all done in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Our attention needs to be on finishing our race, fulfiling God's plan and purposes and the rest will be living in His perfect rest.
Let us cut off every distraction, cut off every thought that is not in line with God and focus on completing our God-given assignments.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
