Acts 2:43 AMPC
And a sense of awe (reverential fear) came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were performed through the apostles (the special messengers).
Acts 2:43 AMPC
A pivotal point in the early church that sets them truly apart as they begin to live with a different way of life from the one they were used to.
They walked with power, different families came together and living as one family of God. Sharing meals together and their resources.
They created an atmosphere around them by demonstrating the power of God through preaching and their teaching. No wonder the world noticed them and they can tell who is a follower of Christ and who is not.
Therefore, the word Christian was used to identify who are the followers of Christ.
The same power of God remains, the same call is given, the same resources established. We just need to start believing and walking as the early church lived.
We are not to create a counterfeit. The smoke, the lights and the designs of the auditorium is great but without the real presence of God flowing from inside out, they all will amount to nothing.
The world is not looking for a form of godliness but they are looking for real truth, real life and a real God. We who know Christ are the answers to what the world is really looking for.
Can people feel God, know God and experience God when they meet with us? It should bring us to a place of seeking God that we may also walk in the resurrection power of God.
We should desire to be united as a family of God where people will start to have a reverent awe of our Lord Jesus Christ through our lives.
We have all become the chosen race, God's own special people so that we can shine His glory and power everyday.
Let us unite, let us seek God and reflect Him everyday so the world will know Jesus is Lord.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
