For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.

Paul is a disciple maker and his spiritual son Timothy did not only carry the message of Christ, he also speaks with the same mind as Paul.

This speaks about the importance of growing with the same mind into maturity and in all that Christ has established for us on that cross.

All it takes is two people to come into agreement, the mentor and those who are being mentored need to submit to growth and to maturity.

Timothy is a good reflection of Paul's teachings because Timothy valued the time and input that Paul have invested.

This is the reason Paul had such confidence that Timothy will deliver just like Paul.

Who are we mentoring? We need to invest our lives into building each other and to raise more leaders that will keep spreading the good news.

To those who are being mentored, we need to value the input of our leaders who desire the best for us. We submit so that we can reach our full potential and bring the best out to all to enjoy.

Submitting to our spiritual fathers who desire the best for their spiritual children and children embrace the correction and guidance of their leader.

Let us keep reflecting what we have learnt, put them into practice and multiply our talents everyday.
