Mark 4:32 NKJV

but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.”

Mark 4:32 NKJV

Jesus explained the kingdom of God to what it is like. This parable is to give us an example to bring out principles that function in the kingdom of God.

Firstly, nothing is insignificant when it comes to God. He can use a dead cut off branch to produce beautiful flowers. He can bring life to a barren desert.

A mustard seed may look so insignificant yet it can produce to bring sustenance and shelter to birds.

The principle is we must not be grieved by our lack, by our shortages or by anything that seems to amount to nothing.

The little we have is a seed that can produce amazing blessings for our future. If we don't give attention to grow and plant the insignificant seed, then we are not going to see the harvest and productivity in our lives.

Everyone have received seeds from Christ. Therefore, what we do with it matters. We can make our garden a fruitful one or a bare one. It is all about planting and watering the seeds that God has given to us.

The potential of becoming great and productive is dependant on what we do with the seed that God has given.

Let us dig out all the cares of the world and throw it away from our lives. Start building everyday with what God has established in our lives.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
