Anyone who hears the word and gives attention to it and begins to hear it again from the source, revelations will begin to flow and application can be made into our lives.

When Jesus spoke these parables to all who were listening to him, they heard but did not understand. The understanding was given to those who give attention to what was said and asked Jesus to reveal it.

They received the revelation by going back to the source and letting Jesus explain the meaning of what was said.

Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit who is the Writer of the Word of God. When we give ear to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to the churches, to our families, and to our lives, then we will walk in understanding and be able to apply the word of God confidently.

The Word of God is given freely to all who give ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. The hearer will benefit from God's word.

God's word is not just information, not just to gain knowledge but it is the Way, the Truth, and gives God's kind of life for us to live.

John 6:63 says that the words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life. God's life flows from His word and God's word flows in God's life.

Let us give our full attention to God's word and let the Holy Spirit reveal it to us for application.
