Hebrews 12:13 NKJV

And make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Hebrews 12:13 NKJV

This verse highlights three key points. Firstly, we are called to walk according to God's righteousness, submitting to Christ's work in our lives and living as a godly model for others.

Many people want to serve the Lord without understanding the gift they have received from God. They try to live righteously through their own efforts, leading to disappointment. However, righteousness is a gift which we have received, not something earned by good works.

To stand strong and unshaken, we must understand what Christ has bestowed upon us.

Secondly, we are to help those who are spiritually weak, encouraging them to be strengthened in the Spirit of the Lord. Rather than condemning them, we lead them to the strength and power of Christ.

Thirdly, we are called to heal and restore, not to break. As we walk in Christ, we display His power and might, being the hand of God ready to touch and mend broken hearts.

Let us continue to step into what Christ has prepared, practising the gifts and abundance He has given us.

Blessings,

Ps Ambrose
