I Corinthians 15:6 NKJV
After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep.
I Corinthians 15:6 NKJV
The resurrection of Christ was witnessed by over 500 people, many of whom were still alive when Paul wrote this letter. This wasn't a private appearance among the disciples; many saw Christ, providing proof of His resurrection.
Most scholars believe that this letter was written around 25 years after Christ's resurrection, providing evidence that many people who witnessed the resurrection were still alive to testify about it.
Yet many people don't believe in the resurrection of the dead or that life continues after death. However, eternal life awaits those who believe in Jesus, and eternal death awaits those who deny Christ.
Jesus is alive today, just as He was over 2000 years ago. As believers, Christ lives in us, and the Spirit of God abides in each one of us. We are called to reflect the resurrection of Christ daily, empowered to be ambassadors of His kingdom.
We demonstrate Christ's resurrection by laying hands on the sick, casting out evil spirits, baptizing people, and preaching the kingdom of God. Christ's resurrection is not just a one-day celebration but a lifelong testament that we carry.
We are the voice, hands, and feet of God on the earth. Let us shine His resurrection power, peace, and love.
Blessings,
Ps Ambrose
