Romans 1:14 NKJV

“I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to unwise. ”

Romans 1:14 NKJV

Paul was not only eager to preach Christ and Him crucified, he says that he is a debtor, he held the responsibility to deliver the truth to all mankind.

When Paul had a revelation, an encounter with Jesus, he was transformed from the inside out. Truth has liberated him beyond words can explain.

He saw the veil that covered his eyes removed, the religion that is based on the law that bound him down has been broken by the love he encountered with Jesus.

He realised that this revelation about Jesus is so important and needed to be shared to all humanity.

He felt like if he did not tell people about Jesus Christ and His salvation plans, he will be holding back the only hope and life that people need.

This is a deep conviction of a man who truly had encountered Jesus. What God wants from us is to know Him. For when we do know Him. We will realise the glorious opportunity that people will have to be saved.

The gospel cannot be heard if people don't rise up to share Jesus. If we become only the receiver and hide that truth from others, we will be stealing the opportunity for people to be saved.

People who stand on the street to preach the gospel, people who go out in the highways, byways, in the alleys are people who got the revelation of Jesus and His glorious life.

Many wait for an opportunity to share the word and that is wonderful but those who have experienced Christ will create the opportunity to share the word of God.

When Paul was in imprisonment, he did not murmur or complained about things but desired to share the truth. Everything about what he goes through with persecutions seems to have no effect on him.

The bible tells us that those who know their God will do great exploits.

Let us continue to know God. Continue to deepen our revelation of who He is, so that we can preach Jesus boldly to all generations.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
