For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Jesus Christ received from God Our Father honour and glory when Our Father spoke from heaven about His Son saying this is My beloved Son in whom I Am well pleased.

Honour and glory is bestowed upon Jesus on His earthly body by the Father's word. In John 17, Jesus said that He had given that word to His church.

Therefore, just as the Father declared this is my beloved Son to Jesus, through Jesus we have been declared His own children and receive glory and honour.

Jesus never used His Father's glory and honour to sit and let people serve Him. Instead, He used His glory and honour to serve His people.

We too are called to serve not in our own earthly strength or might but to serve the Lord in the power of His might, honour and glory.

The Father's word have positioned Christ in the place of honour and glory. In the same token, we too are raised to be seated together in the heavenly places because we have received the word from Jesus.

We can be bold in the power of God's word because His word is our honour and our glory.

When we start to walk in His word, we walk in honour and manifest His glory.

We must believe His word if we want to walk in His honour and in His glory. We need to know God's word in order to enjoy fully what God has given to us.

Let us walk by faith according to the living word that is Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
