Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!

Ezekiel 37:4 NKJV

The Lord brought Ezekiel and showed him the condition of the valley. Ezekiel had a tour of how bad things are and they were VERY dry.

After showing the entire valley and its condition, God paused a question, can these bones live? It is obvious that it was not just a dry place but very dry, nothing can live in that condition.

No humans could live in that condition. Therefore that question God asked is not just about the condition of the valley but it is about what Ezekiel would value more, what will he consider between the condition of the valley and the power of God.

Here God revealed His ways. He told Ezekiel to prophesy and speak to the dry bones which is laid in the midst of a very dry valley.

It is easy to give up when things do not look good, or things did not go our way, receiving bad news or had a challenging day at work.

The truth is God has given us the power within to speak life into every situation and call those things that are not as though they were.

This is God teaching Ezekiel to walk by faith and speak as God has spoken. Not giving in to the natural visual he just saw but to trust that WHEN HE SPEAKES GOD'S WORD, EVERYTHING WILL COME ALIVE.

What we have in Christ is able to bring life to the dead as Jesus did and heal all kinds of diseases.

Ezekiel who had a tour of the place did not consider the place but he considered God's word above everything else.

He spoke to the bones and brought everything to life to its fullness. That is the power that is in every believer in Christ.

What comes out of our mouth is so crucial. We do have the power to create or to tear down. Let us build everything according to what God has spoken.
