Many are just like one of Jesus's disciples, so amazed by the outward appearance and the beauty of earthly structures. Many today are still driven by looks and they miss out on the real values that Christ has given.

Jesus said that not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down. It means everything that is of the earth will perish but His spiritual kingdom and its principles will remain.

People are running after convenience, not after conviction. They are running after a form of godliness but not the reality of God's kingdom that changes lives.

We must seek after the real truth of God's word.

We must know God and imitate Him as His dear children.

We must follow the footsteps of our Heavenly Father in heaven just as Jesus did.

If we are amazed by the outward appearance and do not see what is really important, we are going to miss out on knowing the truth.

It is a blessing to have wonderful structures, wonderful plans but what is far more important is the truth of God.

Living life in Christ is a life filled with power, love and everlasting life. This life of Christ will raise every part of our lives and will impact the lives of people around us.

We have in Christ a building that cannot be shaken, a kingdom that will stand forever and His word that will never pass away.

Let us keep our eyes on Jesus and the work He has accomplished for us so that we will keep the most important things in life as a priority at all times.
