Acts 3:13 NKJV
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.
Acts 3:13 NKJV
Peter and John preached the gospel with signs and wonders.
Abraham had a relationship with God and performed wonders.
Isaac, by God's grace, was blessed because of his relationship, and so were Jacob and others blessed through their personal relationship with God.
Peter and John did not walk by the experience of their forefathers but they themselves had a personal relationship with Almighty God through Christ.
Many have a form of relationship based on somebody's experience, and somebody's encounters, but never developed their own walk with God.
God wants us to have our own personal experience with Him so that we will know Him better personally. So that things in the world cannot persuade us from the life of God.
God's desires are for each one to have a personal relationship with Him, to experience Him, and to know Him so that we can represent a kingdom that cannot be shaken.
Our relationships with God need to be knitted closely with every part of our being. It means we are to bring our entire being into alignment with God's divine nature.
Therefore, we need to ask this question. Is He just the God of our forefathers, or is He our God that we have known through relationship?
We are all invited to know God personally, to hear Him, to experience His heartbeat, and to manifest His glory every day.
Let Him be our personal God, our personal Saviour, and our personal guide, God the Holy Spirit.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
