John 11:8 NKJV
The disciples said to Him, “Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?”
John 11:8 NKJV
When Lazarus was dead, Jesus decided to go to Judea again where the Jews plotted to stone Him. Even the disciples tried to suggest for Jesus not to go there.
Jesus was not moved by the threats of the enemy, His plans did not change because of the plot of religious people.
Jesus knew no one could touch Him unless He allowed it to happen. We have seen Jesus slip unharmed many times through an angry mob who are ready to kill Him.
Jesus not only believed that nothing could touch Him, but He also executed it by the way He lived. Jesus is fearless even in the face of death.
When we serve the Lord, there will be persecution, trials, and tribulations. Many would be from people who are so-called leaders who put their pride above God's plan.
When these things happen, we must not be shaken, give up, or hide in fear. We must rise up and accomplish the task God has prepared for us to do.
Many people have given up because of things that have happened to them. Many have stopped serving the Lord. We must stand strong in Christ no matter what comes our way.
For we have the victory in Christ and every person that comes against us will be defeated so that the plans and purposes of God would be accomplished.
Just like Christ, we have a mandate, a vision, and a call. We are to work in the kingdom of God when there is still light.
Let us keep our focus in accomplishing our God- given mission and bring glory to God's Name.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
