Luke 18:16 NKJV
But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
Luke 18:16 NKJV
Jesus told His disciples not to forbid the little children from coming to Him, for such is the kingdom of God.
Children don't stand on ceremony to talk to their parents. They don't worry about the choice of words to use. They just rush into the arms of their parents.
They don't give attention to unforgiveness; they may argue, they may be disciplined, but they don't carry a grudge against their parents.
They still rush into the arms of their parents no matter how much correction they have received. Such is the attitude of all in the kingdom of God.
As a child of the living God, we need to learn from these little ones who believe their parents are their entire world and that nothing matters more than their parents.
Do we feel, believe, and acknowledge these qualities in our lives as God's children?
We too should not stand on ceremony. It is a relationship that Jesus has purchased for us to enjoy with our heavenly Father.
Do we talk to our heavenly Father with religious words? Do we follow a format or a pattern? Or do we love Him and speak to Him as our Daddy God?
There is so much that has entered into living a life as a believer, too many structures that cause us to have a religious experience and not a real relationship with our heavenly Father.
Let us come before our Heavenly Father as a child who loves Him, trusts Him, and relies on Him.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
