Luke 6:19 NKJV
And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.
Luke 6:19 NKJV
Jesus' ministry of signs and wonders began after His water baptism, after the Holy Spirit came and remained in Him.
There were no miracles recorded for the first 30 years of Jesus's life, but after the Holy Spirit came upon Him, Jesus lived in the image of God and lived in His likeness through His body.
The Bible tells us that as Christ is, so are we in this world. Jesus displayed on earth the capacity of mankind who chose to live in God.
Jesus revealed to us the power and glory that is in every born-again believer. We all start off in this journey as a child who needed help to walk, eat and be clothed.
Just as we grow in the natural, we too need to grow in our spiritual nature in Christ every day.
We may have started off as believers by begging God for mercy and for love.
After knowing Jesus and how He has loved us with UNCONDITIONAL love and blessed us with His MERCY every day, we need to start building ourselves in the knowledge of our true identity in Christ.
When we live in our true identity, then only can we begin to learn to use the gifts Christ has already given us and put them into practice.
From begging for more, we move to living out what has been given and then we start to pour out the living water that is of Christ from within us.
We start to heal people, deliver people from oppression and set people free by the power of Jesus that is within us.
The life Jesus displayed is not for a few special people. It is not the few who is so called qualified to have the power but it is for every soul that beliefs in Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the power in every person, He is waiting for us to pour out His power to all who are in need.
Jesus has displayed our capacity as believers who have received the Holy Spirit. Jesus said we will do greater works here on earth.
Therefore, let us desire to manifest all of God that is already in us, so that all of His purpose in our lives is fulfilled.
Blessings,
