Galatians 2:8 NKJV

(for He who worked effectively in Peter for the apostleship to the circumcised also worked effectively in me toward the Gentiles)

Galatians 2:8 NKJV

Paul is showing us that the same Jesus who worked effectively in Peter also worked in Paul. Therefore, if Peter can carry out the work by God's grace, the same grace is also in Paul to accomplish his calling.

This is such a powerful truth that reveals Christ has worked His power, His authority, set to full capacity to perform the wonders of God to ALL who believe in Him.

It does not matter what background we come from, it does not matter what was our story or history, what really matters is whether Jesus is our all in all.

Do we believe that same power that raised Jesus is the same power that's in Paul, Peter and is in us?

If we do, then all we need to do is to step out in faith and do what Christ has commanded us to do. Preaching the gospel of His kingdom everywhere and to the ends of the earth.

Don't look at who we are serving nor compare with others. What is important is that we keep doing what Christ has commanded us to do, do it to the best of our ability and praise God for the opportunity given.

It is not about our kingdom, our achievements but about obedience. With obedience comes great achievements. Achievements according to God is not measured by how big or how great but by obedience to Him.

Christ HAS worked it in Peter, worked in Paul and He has worked in us. Let us work out what Christ has worked for us so that our life will reflect His glory.

Blessings,

Ps Ambrose
