When the people sought out the prophet Elisha concerning the land's water crisis, Elisha took a bowl of salt, poured it into the water, and healed it. The people thereafter enjoyed a wonderful land that brought forth fruitfulness to all who lived there.

The Word of God tells us that Jesus Christ has made us the salt of the earth. Every believer has become powerful in Christ to bring healing to the world. This is a gift and a responsibility that God has placed on us to bring His healing to the world.

We are called to bring God's redemption plan to mankind because true healing comes only from Christ Jesus. Our assignment on earth is crucial for people to have eternal life. We should start by praying for souls to come into the saving knowledge of Christ.

Let us look for opportunities to share God's salvation plan for mankind, seeking those who are lost, broken, and rejected, and bringing God's healing power into their lives.

Elisha had confidence in the anointing he received from Elijah. How much more should we have confidence in God, who has made us the salt of the earth?

Let us cultivate this gift by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing restoration to all mankind.
