1 Corinthians 7:4, NKJV
The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
1 Corinthians 7:4, NKJV
This scripture illustrates the importance of interdependence in marriage. Each partner has the authority to positively or negatively impact the other's life.
If a husband sows negativity into his wife's life, she can only respond in kind, reaping what he has sown. Conversely, if he invests in positivity, he will reap the benefits.
This principle applies to our relationships and our lives in general. What we invest in our spouse, we will reap in our own life.
Every seed we sow will produce a harvest, reflecting the quality of our investment.
This concept is beautifully illustrated in Christ's sacrifice for us. Jesus invested the best in us, sowing God's promises into our lives.
When we choose to align ourselves with Christ's work, we invest our lives in Him. In return, we receive the power and grace to fulfill our potential.
Therefore, when we prioritize seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness, we are investing in ourselves.
Let us make every effort to invest the best in each other and, above all, in Christ our Lord.
