Galatians 6:16 NKJV

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

Galatians 6:16 NKJV

Paul reveals a powerful truth concerning how to maintain, grow, and bear fruit as children of God. He emphasizes the importance of walking according to a specific rule, which is centered on Jesus. This rule involves building our lives on the foundation Jesus laid by recognizing our new creation identity in Him.

In this chapter, Paul addresses those who still desire to follow the law, seeking to justify themselves in the flesh. They compel others to follow their example, advocating for circumcision, despite being unable to keep the law themselves. Paul's stance is clear: "God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of Christ

Galatians 6:14

The rule Paul emphasizes is to live in Christ as a new creation by walking in the Spirit of God. We must not settle for practicing mere shadows of spiritual realities when Christ has been revealed in us. Pursuing these shadows may satisfy our flesh, but it will cause us to miss out on our true life in Christ, which is characterized by living in the Spirit as a new creation.

The law and the prophets served as preparation for Jesus's arrival. Now that Christ has fulfilled the law and its requirements and has paid the penalty for our sins, we are called to live in Him and walk in truth as new creations.

Jesus has established His government on earth, and those who choose to live by the principles He has laid down will experience peace that surpasses all understanding and mercy that frees them from sin consciousness, becoming ministers of His amazing grace.

For Jesus IS the WAY, TRUTH and the LIFE. When we live in Christ we will live in His ways, stand on His truth and we will live out our true life.

Living life in Christ will cause us to live pleasing before Him and before our Father in heaven.

Let us fix our eyes on Christ, continually aligning ourselves in Him, and sharing God's love with those around us.

Blessings,

Ps Ambrose
