Matthew 6:1, NKJV

Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise, you have no reward from your Father in heaven."

Matthew 6:1, NKJV

In everything we do, our motives must be to honor the Lord and to walk in obedience. While we may receive applause, promotions, or recognition from people, these things are fleeting and are subject to change. However, there is One who remains unchanged, and His promises are sure - our Lord Jesus Christ.

Doing everything unto the Lord removes disappointment, hatred, feelings of unappreciation, and burnout.

This is because the Lord always loves, values, appreciates, and honors His children. It is a privilege to do everything unto the Lord, and it is also the key to doing our best, even in the midst of unappreciative people or environments that don't value our contributions.

As long as we keep our eyes on the Lord and do everything as unto Him, we will be satisfied and filled with joy. God's reward brings perfect joy, peace, and love. When we serve Him through our daily routines, our tasks become exciting and meaningful, even in a seemingly meaningless society.

Doing everything unto the Lord is not a burden or a task, but a blessing that yields a return on investment that never fails. If we invest our efforts based on people, companies, or institutions, we cannot guarantee success. However, when we do everything unto the Lord, we can expect a return of at least 30, 60, or 100-fold.

Let us give our best and do everything unto the Lord, that we may be filled with unspeakable joy, peace, and love of God.

Blessings,

Ps Ambrose
