For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.

Paul did not back down, did not hold back in times of danger, and he did not change to gain popularity but preached the whole counsel of God.

This caused the whole religious people to come against him, which means they came against Paul preaching the truth.

Yes, Paul did not waver in his message to reveal Christ and His finished work but kept preaching regardless of losing his own life.

When Christ's true message is preached, there is no room for any person to take glory, take pride and no human work to be justified.

The religious leaders took pride in who they were and regarded others as lower than them. They took pride in their services so they could look good.

But Paul boasted the sufficiency of Christ and Christ is the hope of glory to all mankind. Calling all to fix our eyes on Christ and live in the power of His resurrection.

When thw revelation comes to us to be in total dependence on what Christ has done and how Christ wants us to live in Him, there will always be persecution.

We need to keep lifting Jesus up and keep declaring what Christ has done and don't mix it with religious beliefs.

The word of God is written to all tribes, tongues, races and across all ages. It has milk for the beginners and meat for the mature.

We have to keep growing to live in maturity as sons and daughters of God. Live in the full, whole counsel of God as Paul teaches.

Let us be bold to stand strong in what we have received from God and keep sharing the truth that sets people free.
