John 11:27 NKJV
She said to Him, βYes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.β
John 11:27 NKJV
Martha was overwhelmed by the loss of her brother, even though she believed in Jesus and saw the miracles Jesus had done, but her view of Christ Jesus was drowned by her sorrow.
Jesus, on the other hand, conversed with Martha to remind her of who He is. Jesus kept telling her that He is the resurrection - the answers to everything.
We often approach God with a need, or when we are challenged, or when we have an emergency situation.
We often start to look at God, hoping that He can do something about the situation.
The truth is He has done everything that needs to be done. It is our belief that He is the answer, not that He is going to be the answer.
Jesus always has been the answer.
The miracle is not in asking God but in believing in God, believing that He is the great I Am. That's the ultimate place God desires His children to be is in total trust that it is well in every area of our lives.
We must not let the things happening in the natural realm divert our attention from who we have become in Christ supernaturally.
We are all in the process of growing into maturity in God's image. Though we have not yet fully walked in His fullness, if we keep standing on what Christ has done, then the chances are we will progress to maturity faster than if we keep looking at our conditions in the natural.
Yes, Lord, I believe it is the conclusion for Martha, so shall our confession be, to trust in what Christ has accomplished and to remain in what He has done.
Blessings,
