Habakkuk 2:2 NKJV
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.
Habakkuk 2:2 NKJV
The prophets were distressed with the situation around his time. Violence, corruption and everything seems to be going the wrong way.
God told the prophet Habakkuk to write the vision down. What is this vision? It is not a personal prophetic word but to write that God has declared about who He is, faithful and His plans will come to pass no matter what it may look like.
God told the prophet to write so that their confession, imagination and perception will be on the ultimate fulfilment of God's purpose.
This is an important note for us to understand that even though God's plans will come to pass, it takes His people to walk in it and to believe what God has said will ultimately come to pass.
Therefore, it is very important that as God's people, we need to keep our eyes on the Lord, to know who He is, what He has done and what He has given to us who believe in Him.
To write on our hearts and on our minds that God is our Father and He has empowered us to be victorious as an ambassador of Christ.
It is not about reading or speaking, but it is about living out God's PERFECT WORK everyday through every area of our lives.
Let His image and His likeness be imprinted in us and in every area of our lives so that we will not grow weary in serving the Lord in a challenging environment.
Live in the blessings,
Ps Ambrose
