Luke 1:30 NKJV
“Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.”
Luke 1:30 NKJV
Mary, a woman who believed in God just like many others in the world, found favour with God.
The Bible tells us that God sent an angel to bring this news to Mary.
What makes Mary to have favour from God?
What made Mary attract heaven's attention?
It is not just her spiritual life but the condition of her heart that is ready and available for God.
People can have so-called spiritual lifestyle, praying in the morning without ceasing, attending regular spiritual meetings and so on.
Those are good practices and perhaps it is good to lead life that way but if we are not available to God, how can God have a vessel for His glory to be revealed?
It is important to live a spiritual life but more important than that is to live life as a vessel available for God.
A vessel where when God says something, we will say yes Lord even if it may cause big problems in the natural.
Mary could have been stoned if found to be with a child without being married.
It would have brought shame to the family and her community.
One thing we know is when God says something for us to do, no matter how it may look like in the natural, it will always bring good things for us.
Our yes to God releases favour, blessings and abundance which our hands can never earn, our intellect can never provide and our resources can never buy.
Availability towards God causes us to live in His abundance and it brings such blessings to all.
Don’t stop making ourselves available just because of our past experiences because that is what the enemy wants. The enemy wants us to keep things to ourselves so that we will not be hurt again.
Many have talents but are not available, and many have gifts but cannot make time for them to flourish.
To be available to God is such a key for us to live a fulfilled life.
Let us all avail ourselves to God by obeying His word, follow the leading of His Spirit and live in God’s favour.
Blessings
