I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

Jesus prayed to the Father concerning His mission and about all who believed in Him. Jesus said to the Father that He has GIVEN US the word.

We have received the word of God. The Bible is full of the promises that God has made to mankind.

It is by knowing His word that we get to know Him and develop a personal relationship with Him.

The word of God reveals all our inheritance that we have received through Christ Our Lord.

If we take time to know what God has given, then we can take what is given and apply it to our lives.

God established a new covenant for us to stand in and build on. That new covenant is laid by the death and resurrection of Christ.

We discover our true identity through the word of God. Jesus said in John 6:63 that the words He has spoken are spirit and they are life.

When we read and study the word of God in the spirit, we will begin to see through His eyes and through His heart.

Since we live in Christ, therefore we need to see everything through His eyes and do as He would do.

The world will disagree or stand against it because they love the desires of the flesh, greed and pride overtakes them and ruined them.

We must be prepared to stand up for the truth and live by them.

This is a promised life that we can have, live in and experience if we know what Christ has given.

So let us desire to know God through His word and search the scriptures to find what Christ has established for us all.
