Mark 5:7 NKJV

And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”

Mark 5:7 NKJV

A man with an evil spirit have been living in the tombs and mountains. He hurt and cut himself, tormented by this evil spirit. This spirit has taken control over this man.

This passage tells us that this evil spirit is so powerful to break chains that were put on him. Its a very powerful evil spirit but the moment the evil spirit saw Jesus, he ran and worshiped Jesus and cried not to torment him.

This account gives a picture of the glory and power that God has given to all of His children. This evil spirit acknowledged Jesus as Son of the living God.

We through Christ Our Lord have become sons of God. We carry His presence and power that not only the evil has to bow but are tormented at our arrival.

The enemy may seem like breaking some chains before our eyes but the moment we stand as children of the most high God. Every evil spirit has to bend their knees in torment subjecting to the presence of God.

We are not to be alarmed by the things we see or feel but be amazed and captivated by the glory and power of Christ in us.

God made His dwelling in mankind who believe in Him so let us continue to walk and live life in His glory and power.

Nothing, absolutely nothing can stand against our God.

Blessings
