John 14:5 NKJV

Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

John 14:5 NKJV

At the time when Thomas said this, Thomas had seen many miracles and heard teachings of the kingdom of God.

Thomas called Jesus Lord yet he still doesn't know where Jesus comes from and where He is going.

Thomas is known as a man who believes if he can see. When he heard about Jesus appearing to the disciples, Thomas said unless I put my finger into his nail-scarred hands, I would not believe.

Too often this is how it is with many believers. We are called as a believer but do we really believe Jesus and His word.

Or are we like Thomas, that we will only believe if we can see first?

Sometimes we preach, we share, yet we deal with issues of life with our own ways even though we profess we believe in God. In reality, we have taken a place of an unbeliever.

There are only two choices, one is to believe and the other is not believing.

Believers believe by faith. This means we don't need to see anything in the natural to convince us that it is the truth.

This means we are convinced in our heart, mind and deeds that God's Word is the truth because God said so in His promises and by His Spirit.

God has given His children authority and power to bring about His kingdom here on earth.

God has given us His children the keys of the kingdom.

He has given us to be the answers to situations that are out there in the world.

Those answers are not there and those miracles are not seen because we His children are called to bring Jesus through walking it out by faith.

The kingdom of God is not about a group of people who sit around and talk about things.

The Kingdom of God is about people who know their God and do what needs to be done.

Let us walk in faith and not by sight.

Let us walk trusting that He who calls us is faithful.

Blessings
