These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.

Jude highlighted the enemy's plot that is already at work in the early church. Just like the characteristics of a follower of Christ that reflect Christ, so also the characteristics of those who function in their carnal self will reflect the works of satan.

What are the signs? The signs are like what Jude described, grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts and everything they do is about themselves.

These attitudes and behaviors will disrupt the unity and bond within the body of Christ. They sow discord in the name of saving them, they ruin the fellowship in the name of protecting them.

They swell with great words then they will slay them with their behaviours. They speak a lot but cannot produce the righteousness of God.

The opposite is true for the children of God. We become edifiers, exalters, walking according to the righteousness of God; unifiers, our mouth will speak the Oracles of God and show the way that all may walk in the fullness of God.

One way to show how to live in the divine nature of God is to live life displaying the glorious light of Christ and to influence our surroundings with the power of Christ.

We must be conscious of God, His character, His love, and His purpose of bringing His body into unity in HIM.
