Ephesians 3:7 NKJV

Of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.

Ephesians 3:7 NKJV

Paul emphasised that he did not become a minister because of his background or because he studied under the best teacher of his days.

He became a minister by grace and by revelation he received from the Holy Spirit of God. His Jewish background did not reveal this but the Spirit of the Lord did.

Paul ministers according to the gifts which produces results in healing, deliverance with signs and wonders. His preaching and teaching is accompanied by miracles.

If Paul trusted in the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to do what he did as long as he lived, so can we by the grace of God.

For we also have received the same gift of grace and the same power of the Holy Spirit to do the works of God.

As long as our focus is on God's grace and our reliance is in the Spirit of God, we too can walk in the miracles, signs and wonders.

These gifts that God has given to us as a church is to be His ministers to the world who are in need of help. They are all waiting for the answers that we carry within.

Paul stepped out of his natural abilities and put his trust in the supernatural grace and power of God. That is why Paul's life is and always will be a testament for all to see and learn.

Now we too have become the minister of the gift of grace so that we too can minister effectively and bring souls into the fullness of Christ.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
