Ezekiel 16:60 NKJV

“Nevertheless I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.

Ezekiel 16:60 NKJV

Here in Ezekiel is a story of the unfaithfulness of God's beloved creation, rejection of their own Creator, and living life without gratitude.

Their unfaithfulness did not stop God's love toward His beloved children. God still fulfilled His covenant to all. Those who would turn to Him will be able to live in His covenant.

Mankind had a promise from God, a covenant but could not keep it because the seed of sin still kept mankind in bondage.

We praise God for sending Jesus to establish a new covenant that has removed the seed of sin and planted in us His seed of righteousness.

Today every believer in Christ has been delivered from sin consciousness to God consciousness. Now mankind can live in faithfulness, live in holiness, and with the consciousness of God.

This is the everlasting covenant that Jesus established for all mankind on that cross. Therefore, every believer can live as a faithful child of God.

Under this new covenant, every believer is empowered to walk, live, and be productive just as Jesus walked, lived, and produced.

It is our choice today to walk consciously of God and not to be conscious of sin. For sin consciousness will lead people to continue to sin but to be conscious of God will lead people to live in His righteousness.

The knowledge that we are indeed living in the new covenant that has been established is very important so that we don't go backwards to what we were before.

Let us keep moving forward in the covenant Jesus has established for all mankind, growing in it every day, resetting our thought patterns and our lifestyle according to His image and likeness.

Live in the blessings,

Ps Ambrose
